MINUTES & AGENDAS
The Hattiesburg Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment and the Historic Conservation Commission were all created to address matters related to the Hattiesburg land development code, zoning issues and more through the rights and responsibilities as provided in Mississippi Code Annotated Section 17-1-17 (1972), and established in the City of Hattiesburg Ordinance No. 1490.
The Hattiesburg Planning Commission holds meetings every first Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center to discuss issues related to zoning changes, use permits, variances, etc.
The Board of Adjustment holds meetings every first Wednesday of the Month at 3:30 p.m. in the Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center to discuss issues related to variances.
The Hattiesburg Historic Conservation Commission (HHCC) is a 9-member board of citizen volunteers who are appointed by the Mayor, with the approval of the City Council, to guide the historic preservation process. The Commission meets monthly on the second Wednesday to review applications for Certificates of Appropriateness (COA).
