Dr. Clemon Terrell Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Dr. Clemon Terrell Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of Clemon Terrell, Ph.D., who served the City of Hattiesburg for 16 years as the director of Parks & Recreation.

As a longtime resident of Hattiesburg, a star football athlete for both Hattiesburg High School and The University of Southern Mississippi, Dr. Terrell left a strong legacy for being both an engaged citizen and public servant. This fund will honor that legacy by providing a college scholarship, annually, to a City of Hattiesburg employee; or for the child or grandchild of a current, retired or deceased City of Hattiesburg employee.

All donations are tax-deductible and are processed through the Greater PineBelt Community Foundation.
