With a vision to be a premier city in the Gulf South, providing programming that engages residents of all ages and abilities is a high priority. The City of Hattiesburg’s Parks and Recreation Department has always met the initial recreational needs of Hattiesburg’s residents, but we continue to grow and improve our offerings with a desire to meet our residents where they are – in place, in age and in curiosity. From our youth who want to learn the basics of football to the recently retired looking to try something new like pickleball, we have something for everyone.
