City of Hattiesburg Seeks Public Input for New Comprehensive Plan

Hattiesburg, Mississippi — The city of Hattiesburg is hosting a series of public feedback sessions to support the development of its new comprehensive plan, Hattiesburg 150 & Beyond. This long-term plan will serve as a roadmap to guide growth, investment and services over the next 20 years.

The comprehensive plan will address key priorities, including infrastructure, land use, housing, transportation, economic development and parks. The purpose is to ensure that future development is purposeful, sustainable and aligned with the needs of residents.

Public input will play a crucial role in shaping the plan’s goals. City officials are hosting feedback sessions in every ward to gather ideas and perspectives from residents.
