Mardi Gras in Hattiesburg is more than just a celebration; it’s a reflection of the community’s unity and cultural richness. This year, we continue to celebrate years long traditions along with a few new ones. Parades, block parties, pub crawls, dance parties and a Mardi Gras ball offer something to do for everyone of all ages. This season in Hattiesburg is the perfect time to explore all of the exciting things that our city has to offer.

  • Krewe of St. Catherine 2nd Annual Roll and Stroll Parade and Block Party
    • Friday, February 2 – 7:00 p.m.
    • Downtown
    • Join the Krewe of St. Catherine for their 2nd annual walking parade and block party on Feb.2, 2024 in Downtown Hattiesburg. This year’s theme is “Rock & Roll Stroll” honoring the rich culture of live music in downtown Hattiesburg. There will be hand made throws, fun costumes, and clever Sub-Krewe names.

  • Mardi Gras Mambo Pub Crawl
    • Saturday, February 3 – 1:00 p.m.
    • Front and Main Street
    • For the first time ever, Front Street Eats is hosting a Mardi Gras Mambo – Pub Crawl and Block Party. Mambo begins at The Mockingbird, to SoPro, to Fairley’s, to The Porter, then to all of our Front Street Locations, to Trattoria, & Grill and Grocery! Complete the Pub Crawl starting at 1 pm and then party at Blu Jazz on Front Street with The Epic Funk Brass Band! All Pub Crawl participants will be able to stroll with the brass band New Orleans style from Blu Jazz Cafe down the hill to Hattiesburgers and Blues where the band will continue to perform. All are welcome to stroll with us. The Block Party will be happening at the end of Front Street featuring King Cake from local and New Orleans bakeries, great mixed drinks, beer, live music and more!     • The Stage is Set! Hattiesburg’s Inaugural Mardi Gras Ball will be held February 9th 2024 at the Lake Terrace Cenvention Center. Hosted by The Good Vibe Foundation and The Krewe of Lumière. Doors Open at 7pm with Special Musical Guests Southern Komfort Brass Band The Nasty Sho (Violator All Star DJ) and Yours truly! More entertainment to be added later!

  • Hattiesburg Caerus Mardi Gras Parade
    • Saturday, February 10 – 4:00 p.m.
    • Midtown
    • Keith’s Superstore and Mississippi Made & More Present the 13th Annual Caerus Mardi Gras Parade. The parade route will travel along Hardy Street in front of The University of Southern Mississippi, all the way to N 39th Ave.
