Position: Equipment Operator

Rate of Pay: $14.00/hr.

Nature of Work:
Skilled work in the operation of light- and heavy-duty construction maintenance equipment. The Equipment Operator is responsible for daily preventive maintenance of equipment. Assignments are usually received in the form of orders to accomplish a specific task. Supervision may be exercised over a small group of laborers.

Examples of Work:
• Operates equipment such as zero-turn mowers and tractors with bush hogs.
• Operates lawn and landscaping equipment, weed eaters, edgers, chain saws, trimmers, etc.
• Performs related work as required.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum of 2 years of experience is desired, but not required.
