Hub City Special Olympics

As some of you may already know, Special Olympics is returning to the Hub City! After over a decade without programming, our Special Needs communities are bubbling with excitement for the chance to play and compete once again! The Hub City Region includes Forrest, Lamar, Perry, Marion and Walthall counties. The City of Hattiesburg and Mayor Dupree, Hattiesburg Public Schools, the Milwaukee Brewers (home team for Biloxi Shuckers) and dozens of local businesses and individuals are PROUD supporters of our Hub City Special Olympics program!

Please join us in cheering on our athletes in a big way by bringing everyone you know to the Hub City Special Olympics Inaugural Games to be held Saturday, September 19th at Hattiesburg High School. Opening Ceremonies will begin at 9:00am. Please share the attached flyer with all of your contacts.

Also, this is just the beginning. Special Olympics runs year round with games during every season. If you are interested in being a HCSO Volunteer, please let me know and I can help you plug in! We will definitely need more coaches as we add athletes to the program. Volunteering just on big game days is an option, too.

Thanks for your support, and Be Special in 2015!
