SUMMARY:The Sleeping Bag Project
DESCRIPTION:Fellowship with others while we build SLEEPING BAGS and PLASTIC MATS for those in need in our community. Old clothing such as t-shirts\, orphan socks\, scrap fabrics\, etc. provide the stuffing between queen/king sized sheets and blankets. They are then secured\, and ties are added in order to created straps. The plastic bags are tied and crocheted together to create the plastic mats.\nCan’t sew? No problem! These sleeping bags and mats are fairly simple to make and even easier to accomplish with others. Plus\, there will be people there to guide you step by step along the process.\nWE ARE LOOKING FOR DONATIONS! To help create these unique sleeping bags and mats\, we need a little help. Pins\, Darning Needles\, Sewing Needles\, Light weight cottons\, batting\, scissors\, measuring tape\, and crochet hooks that are larger than 10 m (i.e. 15 mm or 16 mm are ideal) Any little bit helps keep someone warm.\nIf this is something you are interested in\, call us to SIGN UP TODAY!!!
