SUMMARY:Wind Ensemble Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Wind Ensemble welcomes Weston Sprott\, trombonist for the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra\, to the stage. Sprott will perform composer Anthony Barfield’s “Red Sky.” The piece is a representation of the Big Bang Theory and the evolution of people. As history tells us\, The Big Bang explains how the universe expanded from one single point. All the matter\, energy\, and light were compacted into an infinitely dense point. The universe then tremendously expanded. This work focuses on space\,matter and energy as a whole. \n
