SUMMARY:Wind Ensemble Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Wind Ensemble celebrates two of the four Winds\, Brass and Percussion 2021-2022 Concerto winners. This special concert is also dedicated to the cure for Alzheimer with renowned soprano\, Lindsay Kesselman joins the Wind Ensemble in a performance of John Mackey’s\, “Places we can no longer go.” This work is written in response to John’s mothers suffering of rapid-onset dementia. The composer states\, “these are the memories that his mother wishes she could still share with him of places\, in both space and time\, where we were together.” Soprano Lindsay Kesselman is hailed by Fanfare Magazines as “a voice of goddess-like splendor.”  \n
