DESCRIPTION:The KC Chamber Jazz Quintet is a leaderless ensemble based in the traditions of Kansas City jazz\, whilst performing modern compositions that exhibit the conceptual tendencies of chamber music. The repertoire features arrangements and compositions by modern composers from around the world such as Jasnam Daya Singh\, Pere Soto\, and Thelonious Monk to name a few. The band features David Valdez on alto saxophone\, Nathan Reeves Nall on trumpet\, Jasnam Daya Singh on piano\, Joseph Panella on bass (Southern Miss Alum)\, and Anthony Pinccioti on drums. They collectively bring together a wide range of performance experiences from working with Adam Larson\, Steve Cardenas\, and Logan Richardson to Larry Grenadier\, Sullivan Fortner\, and Tivon Penicott.  \n
