DESCRIPTION:Join Southern Pines Animal Shelter on Sunday\, October 27th from 3-6pm for our Fourth Annual Barktoberfest\, a fun-filled\, family-friendly fall festival! This year\, Venture Church has generously allowed us to move our event into their parking lot across the street from the shelter. \nAdmission is FREE\, but an item donation like a can of dog food\, would be much appreciated! This community event is also open to social\, leashed doggos and will feature: \n• A safe & fun environment for trunk-or-treating with the kids (so come in costume!)\n• CANDY!\n• Refreshments will be available for purchase from our friends at Cadillac Pig and Equinox.\n• Pizza-by-the-slice from Mercury Pizza will also be available for purchase.\n• Fall-themed\, family photos with your pups ($20 for a 10 minute\, studio mini-session; more details to follow)\n• MORE CANDY!\n• Costume Contests (human & dog)\n• Kid’s craft table\n• Face painting\n• Cornhole and other games\n• A chance to meet (and adopt) some of our available kitties and pups! \nWe hope to see you there! \n
