SUMMARY:Southern Miss Parent and Family Weekend 2019
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that Southern Miss’ Parent and Family Weekend will be held September 27 – 28\, 2019! The weekend will be filled with exciting events on campus and in the Hattiesburg community. There will be various opportunities for families to participate in campus life\, spend time with their student\, learn about Southern Miss resources and enjoy Hattiesburg culture. The signature event for the weekend\, the Parent and Family Tailgate\, will take place on Saturday\, September 28 prior to the Southern Miss vs. University of Texas – El Paso football game. Reservations for the tailgate are required. Tailgate tickets are $35 per guest and include admission to the tailgate event\, meal\, one upper level football game ticket and a gift. The tailgate will take place from 3 – 5:30 p.m. at Spirit Park. As part of the festivities\, families will experience the excitement of Golden Eagle football with a performance from the Pride of Mississippi Marching Band and Southern Miss Spirit Squad.
