DESCRIPTION:This event will be the first-ever Drug Policy Reform Summit to be held in the State of Mississippi. It will be hosted by End It For Good\, a MS-based nonprofit organization that invites people to support approaches to drugs that prioritize life and the opportunity for thriving. \n \nThis day-long event will explore the root causes of addiction and harm-reduction policy alternatives to our current system. The day’s agenda includes a well-balanced mixture of local and nationally syndicated guest speakers\, panelists\, and personal storytellers that will engage the various stakeholder groups in attendance. Attendees will include people engaged in community drug prevention\, policy and public health officials\, health care professionals\, advocates and families in recovery\, law enforcement officers\, local officials and state lawmakers\, faith communities\, and more.\n
