SUMMARY:PBMG Spring Garden Day
DESCRIPTION:MSU Pine Belt Master Gardeners are pleased to invite our community to join us for the Annual Spring Garden Day. This year’s theme is “Groovin’ into Spring.” This free event will take place on Friday\, April 14th with registration beginning at 8:30am and speakers beginning at 9am at the Forrest County Extension Office. The address is 952 Sullivan Drive in Hattiesburg. \nSpeakers include: Scott Langlois (Coastal Research and Extension) on “Plant Propagation” and Leilani Rosenbaum (Shroomdom Mushroom Farm) on “3M’s: Magical\, Mystical\, & Miraculous.” Numerous vendors will be present at the event\, and there will be a plant sale to benefit the organization. Refreshments will be provided\, and there will be door prizes\, a silent auction\, and a raffle. For more information\, please call (601) 545-6083. \nThe MSU Pine Belt Master Gardeners is a volunteer organization through the MS State Extension Service\, serving both Forrest and Lamar counties. Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 10am. \n
