DESCRIPTION:Krewe of St. Catherine 2nd Annual Roll & Stroll Parade and Block Party\nThe Krewe of St. Catherine is a Carnival krewe that celebrates Mardi Gras with a marching parade event on Friday\, February 2nd\, in Downtown Hattiesburg. This parade is unique\, as only walking or other human-powered movement is permitted. Handmade throws are also encouraged from the krewes. The parade will commence at the Hattiesburg Community Arts Center\, traverse Main Street\, Front Street\, and culminate in a fun-filled block party on Mobile Street in front of The Ruins near Lucky Rabbit. \nTo participate in the parade you must:\n1. Pay your yearly membership dues $20 to stroll in the parade for 13 and up\, and $10 for children ages 4-12.\n2. Gather your sub-krewe and prepare to stroll!\n*Message us for a group rate if your Sub-Krewe is larger than 20 members.\nThis year’s theme is “Rock & Roll Stroll” honoring the rich live music culture in downtown Hattiesburg!\nRemember that we encourage handmade throws\, fun costumes\, and clever Sub-Krewe names! We can’t wait to see your creativity and celebration of the culture of Hattiesburg!\n
