DESCRIPTION:Take a deep dive into the early history and buildings of The University of Southern Mississippi with local historian\, Russell Archer of Hub History Experience!  Participants will learn how deep south grit and determination brought forth one of the premier universities in the southeast.  \nTOUR NOTES:  Starting and ending in front of the College Hall on the southern Miss Hattiesburg campus\, this is a 1/3-mile leisurely walking tour through campus.  Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.  Water will be provided. Tickets must be purchased in advance\, no onsite ticket sales. \n
