SUMMARY:Blessing of the Pets
DESCRIPTION:Join Westminster Presbyterian Church of Hattiesburg\, MS\, Parkway Heights United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg\, MS\, Trinity Episcopal Church\, and Southern Pines Animal Shelter as we celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi\, the patron Saint of Animals and the environment. On Saturday\, October 5th from 9-11 a.m.\, parishioners and community members alike are invited to bring their pets to be blessed and to celebrate the bond between people and their pets. This event will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church\, 115 N. 25th Avenue in Hattiesburg. \nThe churches will also be collecting item and monetary donations during this special event to help support the work of Southern Pines Animal Shelter and to be a blessing to pets who are in need.
