DESCRIPTION:Singer/Songwriters are invited to submit an original song based upon a painting by local artist\, Andrea Kostyal. The winner will receive a cash award of $250. Craft a song based upon YOUR interpretation of the painting and submit song lyrics and audio recording to festivalsouth.org by midnight\, June 17th. \nThe painting will be on display on the stage at T-Bones Records and Cafe from May 27 – June 19. Photos of the painting are permitted. \nFinalists must be available to perform their songs live at T-Bones\, Friday\, June 20 at 6:00 p.m. and the winner will be announced that evening. \nEnjoy the winners of an open-call competition for poets and songwriters who have used their imagination and inspirations from art by Andrea Kostyal. \nSinger/Songwriter Submissions Here \n
