The August 29, 2016, Draft is now available for proposed new Land Development Code (LDC) for public review. The previous draft, dated July 20, 2016, may be downloaded here The Planning Division hosted three public meetings to discuss the new LDC and to submit comments.
- Thursday, June 2, 2016 – 4pm – 7pm, Sigler Center, 315 Conti St.
- Friday, June 3, 2016 – 4pm – 7pm, Burkett Creek West, Community Room, 18 Millpond Dr.
- Saturday, June 4, 2016 – 9am – 11am, Hattiesburg Public School Executive Board Room, 301 Mamie St.

The Proposed Land Development Code was presented to the Hattiesburg Planning Commission on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at the Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center at 1pm in a Special Called Meeting. The Hattiesburg Planning Commission will rehear the request to approve the Proposed Land Development Code at the regular session HPC meeting on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at the Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center at 1pm.
