THE QUICK AND DIRTY OF IT ALL

1.     It is important that you place the appropriate trash and garbage in the correct can, or the City will not be able to collect your garbage. The GREEN can is for collection of household garbage, and the BROWN can is for collection of yard trash.
2.     Cans should be placed at the curb after 6:00 p.m. the night prior to either collection and MUST be removed from the street no later than midnight the same day.
3.     The lid should be closed or if contents protrude, the lid may be open to no more than a 45 degree angle.
4.     The cans may not be placed more than 3 feet next to mailboxes, cars, telephone poles, or any other obstacle that would prevent the automated arm from retrieving the can.
