Police: Victims Were Followed in Armed Robbery

Four Armed Robbers Sought By HPD

Hattiesburg, MS ∙ April 18, 2011

 

Officials with the Hattiesburg Police Department say that around 11:35 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011, a group of Hispanic men were robbed at gunpoint after being followed by another group of four males from the Chevron gas station located on Mississippi 42 to a residence in the 300 block of Geneva Street in Hattiesburg.

The four suspects, who were riding in a tan Ford Taurus, pulled guns as they demanded money from the victims.

Apparently, the victims were seen in the store by the suspects, and then were followed to the victims’ residence.

Not only was the suspects’ vehicle captured by surveillance in the store, but also the photograph of one of the suspects as he entered the business.
