Dave Ware represents Ward Four, which includes central Hattiesburg and most of the historic district of the City, and currently serves as Vice President of the City Council. He is co-owner of Southern Anesthesia, Inc., and a practicing Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Councilman Ware also works as a developer, concentrating on rehabilitating historic properties in Hattiesburg.
A 1991 graduate of Jones County Community College, he holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master of science degree from Charity Hospital/ Xavier University. He is a three-term president of the Mississippi Association of Nurse Anesthetists and a member of numerous health care professional associations. Councilman Ware is also a member of the Area Development Partnership, Hattiesburg Historic Neighborhood Association, Hattiesburg Historic Downtown Association and the Walthall Foundation.
He and his wife, Amy Jo Ware, have four children—Keaton, Payton, Olivia and Ashton-- and are active members of Sacred Heart Parish.
