Carter Carroll is serving his fourth term of service on the City Council. Councilman Carroll represents Ward Three, which encompasses western Hattiesburg and the Lamar County portion of the City. He served as President of the City Council from January 2002-January 2007.
Councilman Carroll is an account manager for Sage Healthcare Division. A lifelong resident of Hattiesburg, he holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and is a lifetime member of the USM Alumni Association. He is a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where he has served on the vestry, and is involved in numerous civic and social organizations.
He and his wife, Libby Powers Carroll, have two children, Katie and Rob.
