City Council to Choose Redistricting Plan

Hattiesburg-City Council will vote today at 11 a.m., on one of four redistricting plans. The approved plan will then be submitted to the Justice Department who will review them. The opinions voiced by residents during the public forums will also be taken into consideration. City Council expects to hear a response from the Justice Department within 90 days of the submission. The proposed plans are listed below:
