HPD Earns Top Award
Hattiesburg-The Hattiesburg Police Department is top dog when it comes to catching criminals across the state. HPD was named “Top Supporting Law Enforcement Agency of the Year” by Mississippi Crime Stoppers Advisory Council and the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. The honor was announced during the 2012 Mississippi Crime Stoppers Training Conference held recently in Biloxi. HPD was chosen because of the cooperation and support of its Crime Stopper program.
