The City of Hattiesburg will host a Blood Drive on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Fire Station 1 located at 810 North Main Street Hattiesburg, MS 39401. The United Blood Service and the bloodmobile will be at Fire Station 1 for this event.

The city of Hattiesburg is seeking qualified persons to become police officers.   Minimum Requirements: Applicants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application. Be a United States citizen. Must have a High School Diploma or GED (college degree is preferred). Have no felony arrests or other serious criminal background.

The City of Hattiesburg’s Planning Division will host three public meetings to discuss the proposed new Land Development Code (LDC).  A copy of the proposed draft can be viewed and downloaded online at http://www.hattiesburgms.com/ government/departments/urban-development/proposed-new-land-development-code/.
